Wordhacker
is a program that helps the users learn English vocabulary easily and
quickly. There are two distinctive features WordHacker specified.
First, it is designed for learners of English in a myriad of countries, with a myriad of interests and linguistic needs. Based on a corpus of 20 thousand words, WordHacker specializes in presenting the words that are frequent in everyday use and words required by important English language test including TOEFL, GRE, GMAT and SAT. Academic Word List (AWL) is also offered for advanced learners.
Second, equipped with computer technology, WordHacker makes vocabulary learning an enjoyable and personal experience. It enables its users access the words more efficiently by providing audio and visual devises. Standard American pronunciation and relevant illustrations are given to each word. In addition, alternative functions are available to facilitate learning.
